Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at I Want You Back, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. WikiHannibal (talk) 11:14, 12 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Go to Gaurdians of the Galaxy (soundtrack) article to see the songs listed there. Also, you can watch the movie itself. Aminabzz (talk) 11:19, 12 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Guardians of the Galaxy (soundtrack) Aminabzz (talk) 11:21, 12 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, while the content you added to the article is correct, it is not enough for Wikipedia. You need to add it with a reliable source - please see WP:RS, which is also linked from my message above. I added your text to the proper section of I Want You Back, with a source from Guardians of the Galaxy (soundtrack); this is what you shloud have done yourself. I also add (below) a belated welcome to Wikipedia, with useful links to the basic principles of Wikipedia editing. Please find some time to read them. Thanks. Plot writing or not writing?

I am thinking if it is good to right plot sections for NEWLY released movies or not? Isn't this considered spoiling of those movies? Should we stop this? Aminabzz (talk) 14:24, 15 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

It is not considered spoiling; see WP:SPOILER. But please read and understand MOS:PLOT before writing; it is quite long. WikiHannibal (talk) 09:40, 18 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm John Maynard Friedman. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Talk:February 29 have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse or the Help desk. Thanks. 𝕁𝕄𝔽 (talk) 14:43, 8 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Why it didn't appear constructive?!
I simply made a suggest to include Saeed Poursamimi in the births section, because it wasn't there.
It wasn't hard to figure out that it was a suggestion!
My original post there: "Iranian actor, Saeed Poursamimi was also born on February 29, 1944."
He has a Wikipedia page. Aminabzz (talk) 21:38, 8 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I have replied at the Teahouse, but in summary: you didn't say what you wanted done, who you expected to do it, or why you couldn't do it yourself. --𝕁𝕄𝔽 (talk) 22:48, 8 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Image vandalism

Hi! If you see anyone adding obscene images to articles, there's no need to warn them. Please report them straight to WP:AIV so an admin can block them. Thanks! HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 07:43, 8 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Introduction to contentious topics

You have recently edited a page related to the Arab–Israeli conflict, a topic designated as contentious. This standard message is designed as an introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.

A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia’s norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have special powers in order to reduce disruption to the project.

Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:

  • adhere to the purposes of Wikipedia;
  • comply with all applicable policies and guidelines;
  • follow editorial and behavioural best practice;
  • comply with any page restrictions in force within the area of conflict; and
  • refrain from gaming the system.

Additionally you must be logged-in, have 500 edits and an account age of 30 days and are not allowed to make more than 1 revert within 24 hours on a page within this topic.

Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic here. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template.

I don't recall editing that page. I also checked the timeline of edits made on that page and I didn't find my edit. Can you please redirect me to my edit? Aminabzz (talk) 17:31, 12 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Maybe they mean the Talk page. Parham wiki (talk) 21:02, 12 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
So we shouldn't add new topics in the talk page of a contentious article while our intention is to help them become better?! It sounds silly to me. BTW, I didn't find any edits by me in the timeline of the talk page of that article too! Aminabzz (talk) 21:41, 12 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I notified you because you expressed interest in the subject when you edited Talk:2023 Israel-Hamas war. As it says quite clearly at the top of the notice, this is for any page related to the Arab–Israeli conflict and it does not imply that there are any issues with your editing. You are now aware that there are special rules for this subject. That's all this is. Thebiguglyalien (talk) 21:55, 12 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Can you please tell me which of my edits you are mentioning? I had several replies and new topics in that article. Aminabzz (talk) 23:28, 12 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2023 Elections voter message

Hello! Voting in the 2023 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 11 December 2023. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2023 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:57, 28 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
