Mildred Fizzell

Hi! Today I have seen, that you have made edits to the page Mildred Fizzell and you had also a small conversation with one of our users and Olympic project members. Now I have two more questions: You have written "She was my grandmother...", so she already died? If so, can you add her date of death? And I would like to ask you: there is no relationship to Mary Frizzel? Only the names look a little bit similar? Or is the name of Mary Frizzel also misspelt? It would be nice to hear from you. Thanks in advance andĀ :) Doma-w 11:58, 17 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Doma-w...not really sure how you send you a message so I thought I'd type here...sorry for taking a while to get back to you. I can see from my grandmother's page you found out her date of death. Mary Frizzell and my grandmother are no relation whatsoever. My grandmother, Mildred, was born and raised in Toronto, Mary I think was from the west coast. As far as I know Mary Frizzel's name is correctly spelled. It's odd that they would have two Olympic calibre athletes with very similar names. Please feel free to ask any questions. Alison

Thank you very much for your answer! No problem, I have known, that it will take some more time. And yes, I have questions. Somebody has changed the year of death, so is 1992 or 1993 correct? And I would like to ask you if there is a possibility to upload a picture from your grandmother? This would be really great! Many thanks in advanceĀ :) Doma-w 13:34, 3 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there...I actually corrected the date of death. I guess I hadn't logged in as myself. Sorry about that. But the date is now correct. My dad is going to try and scan a great picture we found of the medal winners at the Olympics. We hope this will scan okay and we can post it. -Alisontheice.
