Welcome!

Hello, Alexregent, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Ian and I work with the Wiki Education Foundation; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

Feedback

Nice start, but no, it isn't ready for mainspace yet.

  • The "Communication" section has no references. Every statement in Wikipedia needs to be connected with a supporting citation. You need at least one reference per paragraph, and you shouldn't have any text after the last sentence in a paragraph.
  • Don't use phrases like "it is believed that". Beliefs don't exist on their own, they are held by people. And in a case like this one, it's less of a belief and more of a hypothesis. Regardless, you should connect ideas with the people who have them.
  • The "Foraging" section should be written as sentences and paragraphs, not bullet points.
  • You need to use properly-formatted inline citations, not bare URLs. If you aren’t sure how to do this, please revisit the section of the training module beginning on this page. Ian (Wiki Ed) (talk) 14:04, 7 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
