Welcome

Welcome!
Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. The following links will help you begin editing on Wikipedia:

Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia:

  • Respect intellectual property rights - do not copy and paste text or images directly from other websites.
  • Maintain a neutral point of view when editing articles - this is possibly the most important Wikipedia policy.
  • If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do so.
  • Do not add troublesome content to any article, such as: copyrighted text, advertising or promotional messages, and text that is not related to an article's subject. Adding such information or otherwise editing articles maliciously is considered vandalism, doing so will result your account being blocked from editing.

The Wikipedia Tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome! —Zener 14:12, 25 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

(Reply to message on my talk page) The Adventures of Tintin

Hey you have a cool username :-p

I undid your edit because it wasn't attributed to any source and to me it looked like your own opinion, or something. I wouldn't have undone it if I knew about tintinologist.org calling it like that. If some reliable source describes Tin Tin in Congo as silly I think its fine to add it (with attribution to the particular reviewer or source) so you're welcome to do that :)

By the way just a note: the text you added [1] appears to've been directly copied from [2]. That's not allowed because most websites on the web are copyrighted, while Wikipedia accepts only GFDL text. You have to write everything in your own words.

The numbers (red and green) in the watchlist are the number of characters added or removed in a particular edit from an article. (Help:Watchlist#Watchlist has some explanation)

See ya around :) —Zener 13:00, 27 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
