Unfortunately, your edit to Book of Exodus does not conform to Wikipedia's Neutral Point of View policy (NPOV). Hello, and thank you for the warm welcome. I really appreciate your hospitality and collegiality.

Could you explain how my edit violated the NPOV policy? I provided a citation from a reputable scholarly text that is used in university courses in America. The view presented in this book is not a unique or novel perspective taken by the authors of the text, but is itself cited from other works. In other words, it is a "significant view...published by reliable sources" on the topic at hand.

Prior to my edit, the article claimed that there is scholarly consensus that Exodus is a myth. As a former graduate student in Biblical Languages and Literature and a current secondary school teacher of Scripture and Theology, I can arrest to the inaccuracy of this claim. I understand, of course, and fully sympathize, that Wikipedia is neutral to religious and philosophical claims. However, the edit I made is not endorsing a point of view on the historicity of the Book of Exodus, but rather augmenting it's description of scholarly views do as to reflect the truth of what scholars are saying. Please explain how this violates neutrality. I see it as eliminating an inaccuracy that is, in fact, based on either an innocent ignorance or an undetected bias.
