Hi!

Glad to see that you are looking to create and edit articles! This question is really twofold.

For creating articles, I direct you to the following tool/process that is very helpful! Article Creation Tool. That said, it sometimes takes a very long time to have someone review/approve the article. For example, there are currently over 480 articles that are looking for review. If it is an interesting topic, it can be quicker if someone becomes interested in the topic. For example, there are still a number from 2008 looking for review. That said, I find the tool to be very helpful, and I would be willing to review an article once you submit one for review and give some tips from my experience. I find it amazing that despite the fact that there are almost 5 million articles, there are still topics needing entries!

If you want to bypass the process (which I don't really recommend for your first few articles), you can simply append the /wiki/xyz with xyz being the article title and the third tab on the top should say create this page and you can start there. Once again, not recommended unless you have experience under your belt, but still an option. To create an article that follows wikipedia standards is more of an artform than anything, but don't let that dissuade you! The tool I linked above is a great starting point.

In regards to editing,

What are you looking to do? Do you want to fix vandalism? Fix formatting?

If you want to go down the editing path, I recommend starting with either fixing WP:Vandalism or just fixing articles that you read and notice issues. I recommended starting with vandalism due to the fact that in viewing so many articles, one gains a basic grasp of wikipedia formatting and other considerations. I see that your current account is very new, I think it would help me give better recommendations if I knew more about what you are looking for.

I am available to respond and will try to reply within ~3 days. I am not quite as active as I used to be, but I am still around. Please reply to my talk page with a new section when you are ready. I get email alerts with new sections and that typically brings me back to check on my page, otherwise, I might not notice your message for a while.

Disambiguation link notification for October 5

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited 2015 Indian Super League season, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Valdo. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

File source problem with File:Atk15away.png

Thank you for uploading File:Atk15away.png. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. Please add this information by editing the image description page.

If the necessary information is not added within the next days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please refer to the image use policy to learn what images you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. Please also check any other files you have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Wow, I am sorry for the delay, life escaped from my very grasp. I hope the following answers will still help you.

I am very glad to see that you are actively editing wikipedia and from an initial glance at your edits, you are doing well. I am glad to see you are tackling the content and also formatting issues.

In regards to expanding articles, you can look Articles for expansion. That said, those are sorted by date and the list is essentially infinite. I suggest the following, go to a page about an article that you like and scroll to the bottom. Typically, you will find a list of categories related to that article. I would go there for inspiration. That said, some sites/categories have "task forces" that go through and edit pages, create articles, and try to make them better. Here is a article about task forces. Some of the more major ones are listed on that article. If you do a google search with the terms, wikipedia task force *subject matter*, you should find what you are looking for. Sadly, I couldn't find a list containing the various task forces.

Please let me known of any further questions, I should reply much quicker!

Once again, I apologize for the delay.

Best,

Jab843 (talk) 17:43, 19 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. Invitation from Wikipedia Asian Month 2016

Thanks for partipating Wikipedia Asian Month last year, and I hope you enjoy it. Last year, more than 7,000 articles contribute to Wikipedia in 43 languages in Wikipedia Asian Month, making us one of the largest event on Wikipedia. We will organize this event again in upcoming November, and would like to invite you join us again.

This year, we are lowering down the standards that you only need to create 4 (Four) articles to receive a postcard (new design), and articles only need to be more than 3,000 bytes and 300 words. We are also improving our postcard sending process, e.g. making the postcards right now, and collecting the address after the event ends without waiting other languges.

Wikipedians who create the most articles on each Wikipedia will be honored as "Wikipedia Asian Ambassadors". We will send you both digital copy, and a paper copy of the Ambassador certificate.

Thank you for considering! --AddisWang (talk)
