Firstly, It may not be the official Cover art, but because that and the Illegal cover art are the only ones that exist, I chose this one for the reason that it helps as Identification. If you search "Melodies from Mars" on Google imgaes, the first 4 picture results are that picture.
If there is no official cover art, then no cover art should be used. There is this fan-made cover art for Green Day's unreleased album Cigarettes and Valentines, but it is not approved by the artist. Also, before the Wikipedia page, I hadn't seen the art before. All I'm saying is that even though it might be useful for identification, it is confusing for someone just reading about the article and knows nothing about the subject. Also, the French Wikipedia excludes the image. Oh, and could you please use proper capitalization while editing articles? --A Generic Reality (talk) 00:21, 26 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

As it says in the freakin' article, it's illegal. That doesn't exactly mean "official", or anything near it. It's also even less common than the other. I say we leave it blank and wait and see whether (hopefully!) RDJ will release it. --A Generic Reality (talk) 06:00, 26 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
