Tour articles

Hi, I just wanted to point out that there's a problem with your tour articles for AC/DC, Motorhead, etc. – they are almost all entirely sourced to Setlist.fm, and as that site is user-generated data, it's not considered reliable by Wikipedia standards (because there's no way of verifying that the information that people have added there is correct) and so your articles effectively have no reliable sources, which means it's likely that sooner or later an editor will nominate them for deletion, or redirecting to the accompanying album. You also have to prove that they were actually notable, i.e. that they were reviewed by independent sources... at the moment all the setlist.fm sources prove is that the bands played some songs at some venues, which doesn't make them notable if nobody talked about the concerts at all. I'd advise you to concentrate on finding better sources, such as reviews in music magazines from the time... yes, I know they're hard to get hold of, which is why these articles probably didn't exist in the first place. Genre changes

Information icon Please refrain from changing genres, as you did to Motörhead (album), without providing a source or establishing a consensus on the article's talk page first. Genre changes to suit your own point of view are considered disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Disambiguation link notification for September 3

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Let There Be Rock Tour, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Northampton Township, Pennsylvania (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 07:53, 3 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Sockpuppetry

Hello, AToasterOven, welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions. Your editing pattern indicates that you may be using multiple accounts or coordinating editing with people outside Wikipedia, such as 207.99.246.107 (talk · contribs). Our policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow this, and users who use multiple accounts may be blocked from editing. If you operate multiple accounts directly or with the help of another person, please disclose these connections. Thank you. SolarFlash (talk) 18:37, 3 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Bomber Tour moved to draftspace

An article you recently created, Bomber Tour, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Issuing level 1 warning about removing AfD template from articles before the discussion is complete. (Peachy 2.0 (alpha 8))

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles, or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion debates, as you did with Iron Fist Tour. Otherwise, it may be difficult to create consensus. If you oppose the deletion of an article, please comment at the respective page instead. This is an automated message from a bot about this edit, where you removed the deletion template from an article before the deletion discussion was complete. Copying within Wikipedia requires attribution

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Motörhead into 40th Anniversary Tour (Motörhead). While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. The attribution has been provided for this situation, but if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, please provide attribution for that duplication. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. If you are the sole author of the prose that was copied, attribution is not required. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 21:33, 16 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Adding unreliable sources

Information icon Thanks for contributing to the article Bomber (album). However, do not use unreliable sources such as blogs, your own website, websites and publications with a poor reputation for checking the facts or with no editorial oversight, expressing views that are widely acknowledged as extremist, that are promotional in nature, or that rely heavily on rumors and personal opinions, as one of Wikipedia's core policies is that contributions must be verifiable through reliable sources, preferably using inline citations. Thanks! P.S. If you need further help, you can look at Help:Contents/Editing Wikipedia, or ask at the Teahouse. Thank you. SolarFlashLet's talk about it 20:40, 5 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon You have been advised of the guidelines and reminded now several times when your edits are reverted that "acclaimedmusic.net" cannot be used as a reliable source. Multiple prior discussions such as this one and this one have established this. Yet as of today you are still attempting to use acclaimedmusic.net as a source. Can you stop so I won't have to revert these edits every day? SolarFlashDiscussion 19:38, 12 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

AC/DC Chart edits

Hey there! The dits you've made to AC/DC Live and If You Want Blood You've Got It aren't working as you expect. The references don't go to active pages at the listing sites, and duplicate eachother anyway. Are you able to fix them? -- Mikeblas (talk) 03:17, 19 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Your draft article, Draft:Bomber Tour

Hello, AToasterOven. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Bomber Tour".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia! UnitedStatesian (talk) 22:31, 19 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
