Hello. A few months ago you left a question on a talk page about Alfred Lowth (your ancestor, I presume?) regarding the source of information about his cricket career. The book which provides most of the information is by Harry Altham and is titled A History of Cricket, Volume 1 (to 1914), published by George Allen & Unwin in 1962.
There is now an article about Alfred Lowth which includes the information that he was called "Dandy" and had an eyesight problem.
