Your article was deleted, I expect, because (1) it reads like an advertisement, instead of a neutral description of the company; and more importantly (2) you did not specify any published sources for the information. In general if there is no independent information available about an entity, it is not considered a suitable subject for a Wikipedia article. Regards, Looie496 (talk) 22:15, 2 November 2010 (UTC)
Hi, you can sign your comments automatically using four tildes ~~~~ I deleted your recent article because it did not provide independent verifiable sources to enable us to verify what is claimed or that it meets the notability guidelines. It is also basically an advertisement. It gives no indication where the company is based, how many employees, turnover, profit etc. It's just a string of unsourced spammy claims
- select group of Canadian pension funds, wealthy families,
- clients know that Pembroke will not take unnecessary risks in its investment portfolios
- a powerful alignment of interests.
There are no wikilinks either, which makes this look like a cut-and-paste from a possibly copyrighted source, although I didn't check for that since it was deletable on the lack of references to independent sources and spaminesss Jimfbleak - talk to me? 06:28, 3 November 2010 (UTC)

New draft
It's better, although the independent source is giving investment advice rather than presenting straight facts. I've taken out the spammier claims - — to stay they would need separate in-line citations. It's obvious the Globe and Mail has repeated these claims from company sources, so that isn't adequate to support those claims, which need objective data. I've made some obvious formatting changes.
You could take a chance on reposting in its present form, but I'd be inclined to put in more wikilinks, one or two more independent refs and some figures Jimfbleak - talk to me? 06:29, 4 November 2010 (UTC)

I am happy to make the appropriate edits to this page. The firm is one of the oldest investment managers in Canada and I believe it would be an error not to include it in Wiki.
I will do my best to make the noted changes, if you have any guidance or suggestions they would be well received. It is my first page...

List article
Articles titled "List of..." do not simply list items that fit the description. An article like List of Puerto Ricans do not list all Puerto Ricans as such a list would be huge and pointless. Rather, such articles list notable items fitting the description. GBC Asset Management - a division of Pembroke Management is not notable unless and until it has an article demonstrating its notability. Please do not add it to list articles.
