HE'S A FAKE! HE NEVER EXISTED! The links are all bogus, and the picture is that of Robert Ingersoll. Try reading one of his plays... you can't! Yet bots, users, and admins keep restoring the page without ever checking it's validity!!! 96.2.169.164 (talk) 21:30, 18 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I've been blocked simply for pointing out that a fake article is a fake. The admin chose to block me rather than examining the claim. The links are all bogus, and the picture is that of Robert Ingersoll. Try reading one of his plays... you can't! 96.2.169.164 (talk) 21:37, 18 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, I'm the admin who blocked you. You're right, the lack of credible sources does seem suspicious, as well as the fact the original author had only a few edits. I will unblock you for now, but please don't continue to blank the page. Paste {{subst:AFD}} and follow the instructions to nominate the article for deletion.– Gilliam (talk) 21:44, 18 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Aye, you were SHOUTING and were blanking the page, which immediately screams disruption. If you followed the correct process, this unfortunately circumstance would not have happened. If you did not know how to do this, then you should have asked someone, on somewhere like the Teahouse. !dave 21:46, 18 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
The article has been deleted. Thank you.– Gilliam (talk) 23:09, 18 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

This is the discussion page for an anonymous user who has not created an account yet, or who does not use it. We therefore have to use the numerical IP address to identify them. Such an IP address can be shared by several users. If you are an anonymous user and feel that irrelevant comments have been directed at you, please create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other anonymous users.
