Sorry, can you please explain why you don't think it was constructive? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 94.197.1.111 (talk) 19:12, 31 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Rationale

Although that person was accused of being a witch 400 years ago, that does not make her an actual witch. There is no such thing although, a Wiccan might argue the point, it is generally accepted that witchcraft and witches are fantasy.TheDoDahMan (talk) 19:22, 31 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

That's fair enough, so perhaps the article should have some other title rather than Alice Nutter (witch). But surely the disambiguation page Nutter (surname) ought to include a link to our page about her, whatever that page is called? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 94.197.1.111 (talk) 19:27, 31 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Apology

Please accept my apology. I am new to this and I see hundreds of edits in a day. I did not understand at the time that it was a disambiguation. I thought you were calling the person a witch. Again, my apologies.TheDoDahMan (talk) 21:13, 1 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, and no worries! I've commented a bit more on Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Anthroponymy.

Such an IP address can be shared by several users. If you are an anonymous user and feel that irrelevant comments have been directed at you, please create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other anonymous users.
