East Lancashire Derby

Please stop deleting sourced context without a reason, because you think "it's false dingle news". If you however have a reason, feel free to edit the page.

Pre-League matches were important and seen as competitive (as the FL was yet to be founded), historic reports about the derby (even the Blackburn-favoured newspaper The Lancashire Telegraph) mention them and are thus taken into account in the head-to-head stats. If you have an outstanding reason why it shouldn't be included, please inform me. --WA8MTWAYC (talk) 22:55, 8 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Please provide URL's to back up this statement in the pre league friendlies section: "The total number of pre-league meetings between the clubs was 13, with Burnley winning seven, Blackburn four and the other two being drawn."
