They were indeed restrictions imposed by the government. The virus didn't organise them. It is also a fact that COVID was around for at least six months before the Scottish and British governments decided to join the global lockdown in March 2020. It was probably in Scotland by this point since we have a lot of international travel the same as well as anywhere else. 78.33.247.178 (talk) 12:08, 22 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
