Übel Blatt - that term Blatt for "blade" is outdated. But to bear in mind that Übel Blatt is a medieval-fantasy - so may the outmoded words are belonging there. Most-likely the author used the Old German and Middle High German (Altdeutsch und Mittelhochdeutsch) on purpose, there is a title of the chapter "schwarzes Schwert" it seems the author is aware. Übel can be a reference to culprit/wrongdoer (ger. Übeltäter), potentially. There is indeed an old german phrase "Böse Taten fallen auf den Übeltäter zurück" which means you have to face the consequences of your mistake/dark doings. That's really the main point of this Manga. My belief, that the title is just nested.
