Is Lara Fabian a soprano?
In the article about Lara Fabian it is said that Lara Fabian is a "Full lyric Soprano", "with a range that goes up to G5". However this is a contradiction in terms, because the definition of a soprano is that the singer is supposed to reach at least C6, and preferably quite a bit higher then that, upward to notes like E6. Which is to say: half an octave higher. Calling mrs Fabian a Soprano is a therefore a misnomer. The same goes for the "color" of her voice. Mrs Fabian has a very beautifull warm colour in her voice, which however is typically the colour of a Mezzo Soprano, NOT of a full Soprano, who will normally have a much brighter color in her voice then mrs Fabian. 2A02:A468:565:100:ADD4:4A40:CDA0:8604 (talk) 16:24, 24 January 2024 (UTC)
