Hi Mark, I don't know how to contact you directly, I hope this is correct? I respectfully disagree with you, that phrase adds nothing to the meaning of the sentence and it negatively casts the request as a sexual one, which it wasn't. It would be the same talking about a car accident, where someone lost their arm, and then adding "and their arm bled inside the car" which would add no new information, just gore. Thanks for what you do for WikiPedia, would love to get more involved.
