You did nothing wrong, in fact, you did everything by the book - you made a point, brought evidence to back it up, and consensus agreed with you...just the way Wikipedia should work.

All Galatz did was make a fool out of himself, with numerous editors (and even an administrator) calling him out on his nonsense (fighting a clear consensus, his WP:Own hissy fit, and his obvious "revenge porn" ANI against me after Fiji issued a legitimate one against him).

You and me are fine.
