Thank you for kindly sending me a welcome message. I am not, in fact, new to Wikipedia, but I am intrigued as to how you came to stumble upon my edits. I thought I was editing in obscure backwaters!
I like your off-wiki beliefs! I just doubt the wisdom of "only" in pets from animal shelters. Ideally all pets in shelters would find new loving owners, but I wouldn't be brave enough to take a pet with an unknown background into a home with small children. Unfair to both the pet and the children.
