Re:Deleting material vs adding "citation needed"

My issue with Recurring collaborators sections isn't just that they are not referenced, it is that they are entirely trivial, UNLESS you have multiple reliable sources that specifically discuss the collaborative nature of a director, and who he collaborates with frequently. (Even then, it's probably best to discuss this stuff in prose rather than an ugly table with dozens of names.) Otherwise you can just as easily make sections of "Frequently used filming equipment" or anything else for every director, but it doesn't make them encyclopedia-worthy.—indopug (talk) 07:09, 7 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

This section does not recommend deleting anything: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Manual_of_Style/Trivia_sections#What_this_guideline_is_not and instead points to the content policy as determining what should be included.
