My apology for citing the wrong guideline when I reverted your edit. Please see WP:HED/AG. Generally, names added to a list of notable alumni have Wikipedia article. Magnolia677 (talk) 18:58, 12 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Generally, sure, but I do not see that it is a requirement here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Notability_(people) for notable persons to have a Wikipedia article of their own. I have moved the discussion to the Augustana College's talk page. In fact, the criteria even state: "Failure to meet these criteria is not conclusive proof that a subject should not be included; conversely, meeting one or more does not guarantee that a subject should be included." I believe that Nelly Cheboi qualifies for inclusion as notable alumna given the criteria under "Creative professionals" rule 4.c. that her nonprofit work has "won significant critical attention". Her work has received national and international attention, with her winning the CNN Hero of the Year award in 2022. Again, I believe this qualifies her for inclusion as per Wikipedia's notability rules, especially as a Wikipedia page of her own is not in fact a requirement. 195.252.210.163 (talk) 20:42, 12 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
