Tutorial on bookmarklet

Hi,

I've removed the tutorial you added to this article; unfortunately, it isn't appropriate for Wikipedia, which seeks to describe subjects rather than teach people how to do things. However, the WikiBooks project is set up for precisely this purpose. Perhaps you could recreate the tutorial over there? (A revision of the bookmarklet article which contains the tutorial can be found at this link.) You can even have a link to the WikiBooks article added to Wikipedia once you're done. Thanks for contributing! Chris Cunningham (talk) 19:40, 10 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did to Sean kane. Your edits appeared to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Ale_Jrbtalk 19:11, 10 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the edit, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Pure Reason Revolution edit

I think it unlikely a band would record a live cd from a festival performance; however, if you can provide a link to some kind of press release i will not contest it. Ironholds (talk) 20:49, 12 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia!

Someone using this IP address has made unhelpful edits, which have been reverted. If you did this, in the future please try to contribute in a more constructive manner. If you did not do this, you may wish to consider getting a username to avoid confusion with other editors.

You don't have to log in to read or edit articles on Wikipedia, but creating an account is quick, free, requires no personal information, and has many benefits. Without a username, your IP address is used to identify you.

Some good links for newcomers are:

Please sign your name on talk pages using four (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and timestamp. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions.

Again, welcome! Ocaasi (talk) 10:28, 26 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to King Dunlap, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you. If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make any unconstructive edits, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant warnings.

Information icon Hello, I'm Shellwood. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions —specifically this edit to Andy Fickman— because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Help Desk. Thanks. Shellwood (talk) 17:23, 2 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

This is the discussion page for an anonymous user who has not created an account yet, or who does not use it. We therefore have to use the numerical IP address to identify them. Such an IP address can be shared by several users. If you are an anonymous user and feel that irrelevant comments have been directed at you, please create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other anonymous users.
