Your recent editing history at Psychiatry shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.
You have reverted removal of your proposed footnote 3 times in the last 24 hours. This needs discussion on the talk page, resurrect the archived section if relevant - though I can only find a single mention of "blood ritual" in Archive 9 and there is no ongoing discussion regarding it. |→ Spaully ~talk~  09:07, 11 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Following this warning it appears like you used a different IP address to further revert, given the edit summary continues your same style and discussion. |→ Spaully ~talk~  12:20, 11 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Notice of edit warring noticeboard discussion

Information icon Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion involving you at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring regarding a possible violation of Wikipedia's policy on edit warring. Thank you. |→ Spaully ~talk~  12:20, 11 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

It might be acceptable if both sides were suspended but, Spaully, I want to be sure that you've really thought about whether this is something you want to do. 176.46.113.248 (talk) 13:25, 11 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Anonymous users from this IP address have been blocked from editing for a period of 1 week for edit warring.
During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Acroterion (talk) 12:27, 11 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
If this is a shared IP address and you are an uninvolved editor with a registered account, you may continue to edit by logging in.

Information icon Please do not attack other editors, as you did at Talk:Psychiatry. Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. —C.Fred (talk) 17:56, 23 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to violate Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy by adding commentary and your personal analysis into articles, as you did at Psychiatry, you may be blocked from editing. Any mention of blood rituals is completely WP:UNDUE in an article about Psychiatry. You do not have consensus in favor of this addition. Continuing to add it as soon as you were unblocked was definitely not a good idea. — Shibbolethink ( ) 19:09, 23 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Unfortunately your behavior is in contravention of Wikipedia policy and you are lacking in professional assistance. Unrestrict your talk page and it will be flagged there. Thanks

This is the discussion page for an anonymous user who has not created an account yet, or who does not use it. We therefore have to use the numerical IP address to identify them. Such an IP address can be shared by several users. If you are an anonymous user and feel that irrelevant comments have been directed at you, please create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other anonymous users.
