Adding your own commentary

Information icon Please do not add original research or novel syntheses of published material to articles. Please cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Thank you. OhNoitsJamie Talk 04:45, 18 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Which is exactly what I did. Sourced material. Danny Case was wrong about that. 174.213.144.235 (talk) 02:24, 23 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Nothing

Nothing I posted was unsourced Jamie. 174.255.1.48 (talk) 05:35, 18 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Your edit added nothing of value; the store counts are already up-to-date. When one of the four US stores closes in April, we can change the numbers from 4/10 to 3/9. Adding your own commentary like "as per this excellent source" is disruptive. OhNoitsJamie Talk 05:42, 18 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

If that's what you feel, then I can't do anything about it because you're administrator. But for the record, my goal was to show the footprint of the current locations and of course the edit could have been revised to exclude the phrase "excellent source" or whatever. But anyway, moving on. I still see no reason I was blocked 1 Year for an unsourced edit which it clearly was not. 174.255.0.197 (talk) 01:10, 21 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing Kmart and Talk:Kmart for a period of 1 year for repeatedly adding unsourced content per above. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Daniel Case (talk) 16:16, 18 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

As noted, my edit was not unsourced. I provided a valid source, please actually read my edit. The administrator didn't find my edit useful and removed it. Fair enough but why 1 Year ban for a valid edit? Of course I won't lose Sleep over a kmart edit ban lol but genuinely curious. My edit was not unsourced as I provide sources for my edits 174.255.0.197 (talk) 01:03, 21 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

Since you made this unblock request from a different IP, it appears this block is no longer effective, which is why I've implemented a six month partial rangeblock on your range that only affects Kmart and Talk:Kmart, which you've been blocked for disrupting numerous times over the last few months. Further disruption from this range or any other range will result in more blocks and/or longer blocks. Consider yourself fortunate that I haven't made it a full block for block evasion.OhNoitsJamie Talk 02:32, 21 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

I consider myself Fortunate for my friends and family. Not for editing Wiki LOL, which is at best a Part Time hobby, which I could take or leave. I'm Cool either way. For the record I NEVER EDITED WITH ANY OTHER IP ADDRESS. Also Dan Case's reason for my block was unsourced material. I did NOT post anything that was unsourced. I posted a link to a Kmart article. Literally Check the history. 174.213.144.235 (talk) 02:22, 23 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
