Speedy deletion

How does it not qualify for G11? I nominated another draft for G11 (Draft:Lukeafk) and it was speedied as spam. Also WP:SNOW. This should be deleted. 4thfile4thrank {talk} :? 17:36, 2 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

4thfile4thrank, please re-read SNOW. It's a provision of the instructions for closing discussions and clearly doesn't apply here. G11 deletion requires the reviewing administrator to read the article and its sources, and do a quick WP:BEFORE (can't delete an article for g11 if the promo can be fixed). The draft is literally only a couple days away from a bot nomination for deletion as an abandoned draft. That only requires the reviewing admin to look at the history to determine the last substantive edit. It is 100% non controversial. Generally draft space is safe space. Unless a draft's author is being combative at AfC, or is clearly involved in some sort of COI/PAID thing, it's seldom used in draftspace. Draftspace isn't indexed, so there is no possible need for the urgency of speedy delete, especially when it will be deleted by the end of the month by a normal automated process anyway. 174.212.238.226 (talk) 18:01, 2 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
IP, G13 only applies when no human edits, regardless of significance, are made within six months of the last human edit. We also do not currently have a bot that automatically tags drafts for G13. The G11 and the subsequent revert on Draft:Suckermouth.com had extended the draft's lifespan another few months anyway. I have reapplied the tag for now, but only because I cannot find a way to fix the promotional material without removing a significant amount of content. Please let an administrator or an uninvolved user handle the tag. Thank you. Jalen Folf (talk) 08:03, 4 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
