Information icon Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be repeatedly reverting or undoing other editors' contributions at Tomahawk (missile). Although this may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is known as "edit warring" and is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, as it often creates animosity between editors. Instead of reverting, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.

If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to lose their editing privileges. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, and violating the three-revert rule is very likely to result in loss of your editing privileges. Thank you. If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.
@BilCat: I have added some news to the article and others as you can read in my contribution, but this User:Fama Clamosa has blindly reverted all my edits twice in all articles, not just Tomahawk ! you should write him not me for this unexplained hostile activity ! and since when Fox News is not considered a reliable source? as he wrote in one edit summary here. So I removed the content to avoid an edit war, but it seems he continued nonetheless !
If he wants to impose his biased political agenda, he could find a forum with his antifa buddies far from here! 14.36.226.183 (talk) 18:13, 1 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
That is no excuse for edit warring, and you can be blocked for it. - BilCat (talk) 18:18, 1 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@BilCat: I asked him to give an excuse but he reverted my edits twice without any explanation in all my edits not only one article, you forgot that! and it seems that he has the Rollback tool, warn him that he might be blocked as he is misusing it ! 14.36.226.183 (talk) 18:23, 1 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I didn't forget, and in fact warned him for not using edit summaries. But his misbehavior doesn't excuse yours. No matter how justified you believe you are, you must be careful about reverting too many times. Yes, his edits are a problem, but by edit warring you make yourself a problem too. There are ways to address problem editors. Edit warring isn't one of them. - BilCat (talk) 18:29, 1 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@BilCat: I am glad that you noticed what happened at Tomahawk, so I can explain what happened to all my edits. I bet that I am not the only one who encountered this with him, so I simply hope that he does not stay here for long! 14.36.226.183 (talk) 18:35, 1 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

This is the discussion page for an anonymous user who has not created an account yet, or who does not use it. We therefore have to use the numerical IP address to identify them. Such an IP address can be shared by several users. If you are an anonymous user and feel that irrelevant comments have been directed at you, please create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other anonymous users.
