Information icon Hi 129.128.60.84! I noticed that you have reverted to restore your preferred version of Muhammad ibn Zakariya al-Razi several times. The impulse to undo an edit you disagree with is understandable, but I wanted to make sure you're aware that the edit warring policy disallows repeated reversions even if they are justifiable.

All editors are expected to discuss content disputes on article talk pages to try to reach consensus. If you are unable to agree at Talk:Muhammad ibn Zakariya al-Razi, please use one of the dispute resolution options to seek input from others. Using this approach instead of reverting can help you avoid getting drawn into an edit war. Thank you. ☿ Apaugasma (talk ) 21:28, 24 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.
I am starting to notice an intentional vandalism to exclude Al-razi as the first who distilled ethanol and used it for medical purposes. I am stating this as a chemist, and I have cited multiple sources. I will revert to include the change, will file a dispute, and will report this intentional vandalism.
Hi 129.128.60.84! You and I were writing a message on the same time and appear to have cross-posted on Talk:Muhammad ibn Zakariya al-Razi. Please read my message there, I'm sure we'll come to an agreement! However that may be, please remember that since this is an online environment it's really hard to know the true intentions of other users, and because of this it is very important to always assume good faith. Please also be aware that the word 'vandalism' has a rather specific meaning here on Wikipedia, and that it should only be used when it is clear beyond any reasonable doubt that a user is acting in bad faith (see WP:Vandalism and WP:What is not vandalism). Thanks! ☿ Apaugasma (talk ) 22:52, 24 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

This is the discussion page for an anonymous user who has not created an account yet, or who does not use it. We therefore have to use the numerical IP address to identify them. Such an IP address can be shared by several users. If you are an anonymous user and feel that irrelevant comments have been directed at you, please create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other anonymous users.
