Welcome

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia!

Someone using this IP address, 120.29.10.226, made test edits on the page Latin American Australians which have been reverted or removed. If you did this, please use the sandbox for any other tests you may want to do. If 120.29.10.226 is a shared IP address and you did not do this, you may wish to consider getting a username to avoid confusion with other editors and further irrelevant notices.

Here are a few good links for newcomers:

Here are some other hints and tips:

  • I recommend that you get a username. You do not have to log in to read or edit articles on Wikipedia, but creating an account is quick, free and non-intrusive, requires no personal information, and there are many benefits of having a username. (If you edit without a username, your IP address is used to identify you instead.)
  • When using talk pages, please sign your name at the end of your messages by typing four tildes (~~~~). This will automatically produce your username (or IP address) and the date.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question, ask me on my talk page, or type {{helpme}} here on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Again, welcome! Iryna Harpy (talk) 05:57, 16 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Serols. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions —the one you made with this edit to Dance in Australia— because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to Salsa (dance), you may be blocked from editing. Serols (talk) 16:46, 13 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Latin dance. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Starting at Level 3 even for an IP user because these links are to the same business as the ones that occasioned the Level 1 and 2 warnings, as well as adding the same spam link in September 2017 even though no warnings were left then. If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

For your information, I've just posted a request at MediaWiki talk:Spam-blacklist‎ to add passada.com.au to the spam blacklist, which will prevent links to that website from being added to any article. Largoplazo (talk) 04:44, 31 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

This is the discussion page for an anonymous user who has not created an account yet, or who does not use it. We therefore have to use the numerical IP address to identify them. Such an IP address can be shared by several users. If you are an anonymous user and feel that irrelevant comments have been directed at you, please create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other anonymous users.
