Warnings

Citations

Given the pace at which you are adding citations to the Dominique Strauss-Kahn sexual assault case‎ article, please read the following guideline on how to do it: Wikipedia:Citation templates. Adding bare URLs, as you are doing, is a poor style of citation. Thanks.--Bbb23 (talk) 16:08, 2 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Also, please read WP:RS, WP:BLOGS, and WP:UNDUE. Otherwise, thanks for your contributions. Cheers, JoeSperrazza (talk) 16:50, 2 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi 10Lskil. I hadn't understood this was a new account and I want to apologise for being a bit sharp in my remarks to you on the Talk page.

About your edits: can I frankly ask you whether English is your first language? I ask because you seemed sincere in your explanation of 'the Socialist vice-president', but there's no way that would be read by a native speaker of English as anything other than 'of France'. If you English is not your first language and you're not a literate or educated bi-lingual speaker of English otherwise, then you are going to find it hard to get your posts accepted.

The other advice I would give you is that BLP (i.e. Biography of Living People) is one of the more contentious areas to edit Wikipedia in. I've been editing Wikipedia virtually from its inception and it's only very recently that I thought to do any BLP. You might like to consider something less demanding to start with. You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Dominique Strauss-Kahn sexual assault case‎. Users are expected to collaborate with others and avoid editing disruptively.

In particular, the three-revert rule states that:

  1. Making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period is almost always grounds for an immediate block.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you continue to edit war, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Per WP:BRD, please discussion your desired changes at Talk:Dominique Strauss-Kahn sexual assault case‎. Simply reverting is edit warring and can lead to sanctions. Thank you, JoeSperrazza (talk) 17:27, 2 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
