Hey there I noticed you're pretty active in editing film related articles - why don't you register an account? CaffeinAddict (talk) 17:43, 9 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. I notice you've done some nice work on the The Closer (2021 film). Thanks for taking the time to write a message like a real person and not use a template like a robot.
I used to have an account a long time ago, there were many things about Wikipedia that I didn't like, especially how some inconsiderate people would to go around deleting the good faith efforts of other people. It is not a good situation to have more rules than anyone can possibly know and for many people not to follow those rules and for those rules to be only selectively enforced. I stopped editing for a while, but never stopped editing entirely. An account has some benefits but it is not required and editing without an account works fine for me. Fakenames and barnstars do not interest me. I want people to discuss how to improve the articles on the article talk page, and user pages can distract from that. I prefer to be a on the outside looking in. Thanks for asking. -- 109.79.170.230 (talk) 17:53, 9 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Fair enough. CaffeinAddict (talk) 17:59, 9 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
The only thing that sucks is if a page gets protected you're unable to edit it. CaffeinAddict (talk) 23:33, 9 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
It is not ideal admittedly, and I prefer it when edits are flagged for approval but sometimes getting a page locked anyway is the best option. -- 109.79.170.230 (talk) 23:37, 9 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
