Information icon Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit(s) you made to Stripes (film), did not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Please follow the WP:SIMPLE rules and explain changes with a meaningful edit summary. You reverted four of my edits without an edit summary to explain why. The above message also still does not explain why, or what specifically about the edits you did not think was constructive.

I briefly explained most of my edits. I thought my edits were reasonable and self explanatory, that anyone who read the diffs and edit summary would be able to tell they were in good faith. (Unfortunately I've been reverted before by editors who had not read the diff.)

Wholesale reverting four edits without explanation was not constructive. Partially reverting would have shown some good faith. -- 109.79.167.231 (talk) 03:33, 5 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

This is the discussion page for an anonymous user who has not created an account yet, or who does not use it. We therefore have to use the numerical IP address to identify them. Such an IP address can be shared by several users. If you are an anonymous user and feel that irrelevant comments have been directed at you, please create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other anonymous users.
