Thank you for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test worked, and the page that you created has been or soon will be deleted. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Spices

Please don't make "corrections" without making sure the link you're changing goes somewhere sensible. You changed a link to ar:توابل, which is the Arabic article about spices to ar:بهارات, which doesn't seem to be an article at all. If you think توابل is misnamed, you need to fix it, not break links to it. Beastiepaws (talk) 22:28, 28 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

On a related note, please ensure that if you move pages, you are abiding by WP:COMMONNAME. While the correct arabic translation may or may not be Aamir Bouazza, when the name is Anglicised it is always "Hameur" in reliable sources. Regards, WFCforLife (talk), Help wikipedia. Categories

First, have a look at Wikipedia:Naming conventions (categories), specifically the part which says:

in particular, do not capitalize regular nouns except when they come at the beginning of the title

Second, why are you removing Category:Converts to Christianity from every article that you edit? cab (talk) 12:02, 30 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, my mistake. Anyway can you raise a move request at Wikipedia:Categories for discussion to correct the capitalisation of the categories? Thanks, cab (talk) 13:41, 30 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The grammar is fine, just the capitalisation is wrong. For example, the name should be Category:Indian former Muslims, not Category:Indian Former Muslims. Same for all the other categories. Cheers, cab (talk) 00:11, 1 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Mohammad Hussaini Shirazi

Why, in your edit of 01:31, 14 January 2010, did you index Mohammad Hussaini Shirazi in Category:Encyclopedists under the letter "M" rather than under "Shirazi" as per the default sort? You may answer here. --Bejnar (talk) 03:12, 14 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • because his name is Mohammad and I index it under the letter "M" because I was searching about this personality in Category:Encyclopedists and I not found it!! so I index it under "M"

--نسر برلين (talk) 15:29, 14 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The English Wikipedia utilizes the spelling utilized by subjects of articles when the name is not written in the English alphabet. Your move of Hameur Bouazza to Aamir Bouazza is against policies and should be undone. However, the method by which you moved the page is completely improper. You should never move a page to an intermediary title and then move that page to the title you prefer just so you have a reason to edit the redirect left in place by the initial move so the page cannot be moved back to the original title. If you continue acting this way on the English Wikipedia, you will be blocked from editing it.—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 04:51, 25 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

In the event that you still want to persue this move, I have started a section on the talk page. Regards, WFCforLife (talk), Help wikipedia. Make the pledge. 06:22, 25 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Clearing an autoblock

Due to the nature of the block applied, we need additional information before we can decide whether to unblock you. It is very likely that you are not personally blocked. If you are prevented from editing, it may be because you are autoblocked or blocked because of your IP address. Without further details, there is nothing further we can do to review or lift your block. Please follow these instructions:

  1. If you have a Wikipedia account, please ensure that you are logged in.
Your account name will be visible in the top right of this page if you are.
If it isn't, try bypassing your web browser's cache.
  2. Try to edit the Sandbox.
If you are able to edit the sandbox, you are not blocked from editing. Either the autoblock on your IP address has already expired, or you weren't blocked in the first place. Either way, you can resume editing.
  3. If you are still blocked, follow the directions below:
    1. Copy the {{unblock-auto|...}} code generated for you under the "Unblock request" section.
    2. Paste the code at the bottom of your user talk page, and click save.
If you cannot edit your own talk page, use the Unblock Ticket Request System to make your request.

A tag has been placed on Category:Somali former Muslims requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the category has been empty for seven days or more and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Liz Read!
