Unlimited Translation Works (commonly abbreviated as UTW) was a fansub group that provided fan-made subtitles of anime shows. It was founded on March 1, 2010 by members of several fansub groups, who wanted to start a group of their own and was named after the anime show Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works. UTW's releases are normally released in 720p (1080p if it's a Blu-Ray release) in Matroska format. Their releases are distributed via BitTorrent, and are available to download on the anime-dedicated torrent site, Nyaa Torrents. Alternatively, releases can be downloaded by the group's IRC channel on Rizon via XDCC.

UTW is mainly known for their work on the iDOLM@STER series, Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works, and White Album.

On specific or special releases, UTW would use alias, replacing their 'UTW' tag on releases. For example, releases of Gosick would be released under the alias 'Victorique', named after Gosick's female lead Victorique de Blois. The reason for UTW's 'Victorique' alias for their releases on Gosick is because the translations used in the releases were from Crunchyroll in 2011. Releases using Crunchyroll translations at that time wouldn't be considered as a full-fledged project. Another example of the use of alias comes to releases of the Madoka series. For UTW's release of Puella Magi Madoka Magica, the show was released under the 'Meguca' alias for the reference of a meme that came from the /a/ board on 4chan.

On June 27, 2015, the leader at the time, ar, posted a farewell message on the site saying that he will be stepping down as leader for the group.

On March 30, 2015, UTW posted Episode 25 of Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works. In the post, ar has stated that the UTW has concluded and marks Episode 25 as the epilogue to the project. The post contains the download link for Episode 25, along with comments from Xythar, KmE, and ar commenting on their time while working under UTW.
