The "Trilkhai" are a fictional species of panther-sized sentient telepathic cats found in at the 90s computer game Ultima Underworld II. Within the game, a leopard-spotted Trilkhai called Blackie explains that according to their legends, the trilkhun had once been a powerful spacefaring race that went to war against humanity — a reference to the anagrammatically-named "Kilrathi" from the Wing Commander series by the same publisher.

I'd say I'm a Xennial, but that really makes me sound a bit more like a houseplant with some kind of seasonal-identity disorder, as I mentioned on the "Oregon Trail Generation" article. (I think we should be called the Micro Generation, in reference to the microwave ovens & 'microcomputers' like the Apple II, Commodore 64, etc. that appeared in households alongside us. Beats being a confused houseplant or named after a game best known for cheerful messages like You died of dysentery!)
