Indented line Hailing from the great state of Vermont, marches in Northern Smoke a young hip hop duo. Kenny Phillips Aka KP and Travis Lilley Aka T-Rav have been workin the freestyle mixtape scene since their freshman year of high school. Their first dip into the water started by hosting a local radio station WDGR 91.1 where they combined live remixes with live freestyles. " It was there at Gdr that i realised me and kenny had something, ya know when you have the managers of the station tellin you they got mad people callin in askin us to do a bigger show its like whoa. cuz like at the time we were 14-15 and had never gotten attention like this." said T-rav when asked about his beginings. " it all started when i moved out into the woods. i had a lot of time, and alot of instrumentals. i would sit in my room and freestyle till i lost my voice. my father would hear me in my room and thought i was listening to cds, naw pops this is just me" and with that the two started to develop their flow. it would be 5 years until the two reunited in july of 2009 with the track P-Town What.
