I have not been particulary active on Wikipedia as an editor over recent years, but I have been keeping track of Wikipedia since its beginning, recently especially in the context of Linked Data and WikiData. I consider myself to be a Semantic Web expert who is conducting research at the intersection of economics and informatics. So yes, I am an academic and I love sailing - whatever boat, whatever waters.
