Thomas Hanna (1928-1990) was a movement educator, writer, and philosopher. He created a method called Somatics (later referred to as Hanna Somatics) that expanded upon his studies with Moshe Feldenkrais. In 1997 he founded a journal, also called Somatics as a forum for teachers exploring approaches to embodiment[1].
