Steamboat Jim is the acronym for a well published neuroscientist specializing in the functional description of the neural system with particular focus on the sensory subsystems of the neural system. He is the developer of the Electrolytic Theory of the Neuron. This theory is providing answers to questions that the previous chemical theory of the neuron has difficulty formulating.
