I am beginning to design huge lists of cities by putting together data from different pages on Wikipedia. I'm not including them in the main namespace yet because I am not sure if these big long lists would be quite good for an encyclopedia.

List of present-population lists I made

• Settlements in Afghanistan
• Settlements in the United States (cities over 100,000: 70% complete; cities under 100,000: not started yet)
• Settlements in the world
• Urban areas of the US and Canada (far from finished)
• County subdivisions of the US (just started)

List of past-population lists I made

• List of settlements by population in AD 1
• Historical population tables (very, very, in progress, THIS PAGE IS 100 KB AND MIGHT CRASH YOUR BROWSER!)
