Mitali Mayekar (born 11th September 1996, Horoscope- Virgo), is an Indian Actress who appears in various Marathi film and television. She is among a popular name in Marathi Entertainment world. Her fresh and charming smile and lovely eyes have become an instant hit among teenagers all over Maharashtra. She made her Bollywood debut in Priyadarshan's multistarer Film Billu in 2008. Later, she debut in Marathi cinema through 'Urfi' in 2015. She has also played various characters in Marathi television Industry.
Personal Life
Mitali was born and brought up in Mumbai in the state of Maharashtra.She is a Pure vegetarian. Her parents, Uday Mayekar and Sujata Mayekar always supported in her interests. Mitali attended Balmohan Vidyamandir, Mumbai and graduated in Bachelor in Mass Media from Ramnarain Ruia College, Matunga. She started her acting career when she was 9 years old. She attended Vidya Patwardhan's Acting Workshop in school and from there she got good exposure in the acting industry. She got engaged to Actor Siddharth Chandekar in January 2019.
Career
Mitali started her career when she was 9 years old. From attending Vidya Patwardhan's Acting workshop when in school to playing the character 'Sayali' in Zee Yuva's 'Freshers' TV show, she has proved her capabilities everytime. She did an International Short film called 'Crossings'. After her shortfilm, she paved her way to Bollywood debut in Priyadarshan's multistarer Film Billu in 2008. She played role of Irrfan Khan and Lara Dutta's Daughter and also shared screen with Shah Rukh Khan. Later, She started working as 'Piyu' in Zee Marathi's popular TV show, 'Asambhav (Marathi TV series)' which starred Umesh Kamat and Urmila Kanitkar, directed by Satish Rajwade in 2008. Later she shared screen with Bhargavi Chirmule and Sai Tamhankar as 'Malvika' in Zee Marathi's TV show 'Anubandh' directed by Jalindar Kumbhar in 2009. 'Bayo' was her next character in Bhagyalakshmi which starred 'Neha Pendse', 'Priya Berde', Vinay Apte and many other. It was Zee Marathis's famous TV Show in 2009-10 which was directed by Viren Pandya. She also played 'Ahilya' in Unch Maaza Zoka which again became very famous TV Show in 2011.
Later she started her BMM College and did Theatre for 3 years continuously. She participated in various One act plays and Theatre competitions and won many awards and prizes for her performances. She got awarded as Best Actress in Purushottam Karandak and also recieved Best Actress award in Indian National Theatre in 2014.
She debut in Marathi cinema through 'Urfi' in 2015 which was directed by Vikram Pradhan. She played lead role as 'Amruta' along with actor 'Prathamesh Parab', Upendra Limaye, Kavita Lad, etc in it. She was also starred in Marathi film called Yaari Dosti in 2016. Her character Sayali in Freshers TV Show(2017) on Zee Yuva was portrayed so bold and beautifully by her that it was highly liked by the youth of Maharashtra. Then, she participated in Marathi Reality Show called Maharashtracha Favourite Dancer and was so brilliant that she made it till Semi Finals. The show was judged by Supriya Pilgaonkar and their mentors were Rahul Shetty, Mini Pradhan and Omkar Shinde. The show also had actors like Gauri Nalawde, Apoorva Ranjankar, Abhidnya Bhave, Sneha Chavan, Siddharth Khirid, Rohan Gujar, etc. Amhi Befikar was Mitali's next film with Suyog Gohre in 2019.
For the very first time, in 2019, Mitali appeared in Marathi Web series called ' Sex, Drugs and Theatre' by ZEE5 as Lead female character called 'Rewa'.

Mitali loves listening to music and she is huge fan of Taylor Swift . She likes to read, trek, travel and explore new places. She has deep interest in Scuba Diving as well. She is a crazy Potterhead .Her love for all animals, especially dogs, is exceptional. She has 6 tattoos on her body which stand for different beliefs and special things in her life.
