Andrei Smirnov (アンドレイ・スミルノフ) is a fictional character in the Gundam series, Mobile Suit Gundam 00.
He is voiced by Tetsu Shiratori.
Outline
The son of Sergei Smirnov, Andrei is a member of A-Laws and is the Second Lieutenant of the fifth mobile suit squad. He arrives at Sergei's home to pick up Soma for the Federation's Peace-Keeping Force. When Sergei asks when did he joined the A-Laws, Andrei regards his father coldly and refuses to answer, indicating a strained relationship.
When Kati Mannequin wonders why Sergei allowed Soma to join the A-Laws, Andrei introduces himself to her and says that it was a direct order.
After he met E-0057 with Soma in the HRL's prison complex, he witness Celestial Being beginning their assult but was also assulted by Kataron, requesing Some to go after Allelujah. Before Allelujah went near Soma, Andrei arrived and helped her, but could not stop Allelujah from entering in his new Gundam and is forced to retreat.
