I am a biotech communications director based in San Francisco, CA.

I earned a PhD in biophysics. My dissertation focused on the helper T cell "immunological synapse."

I have worked as a radio-frequency engineer; I have an MSc in physics (thesis on applied high temperature superconductivity) and a BSc in physics (thesis on meteor dynamics). I was employed for a short while as a professional editor at Nature Chemical Biology, interned at Scientific American, and worked as a science writer at Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences.
