Hat

The hungarian Scouts are wear the traditional Scout hat (or campaign hat, Stetson, drill instructor hat, drill sergeant hat, round brown, ranger hat, sergeant hat, Smokey Bear hat, lemon squeezer). In front of see the fleur-de-lis with the Holy Crown. This is the official insignia of the Hungarian Scout Association. In right side you found the yellow brass troop number, in left side you found the bronze rosette. The rosette is the holder of the stipa.

Neckerchief

The neckerchief (or scarf) is a right-angled isosceles triangle wearing apparel. The outside measurements is 70x70 cm or 90x90 cm for the adults. It's wearing under the collar.

The colour of the scarf is showing the age groups:

• cub scouts: varying in troops
• scouts: apple green
• rovers: pigeon grey
• adults: dark brown

The other using colours:

• drill instructors in training camp: yellow
• safety camp members: black

In Jamboree they wear a national colour border. The aidies and the officers are wear the same colour scarf then with their troops, the only diference is a thin lace around the scarf.
