This page explains how to compute gender statistics about your contributions to Wikipedia.
I've developed a notebook which can be run here https://public.paws.wmcloud.org/User:PAC2/Articles%20created%20by%20gender.ipynb.
The notebook use Project Jupyter, Wikipedia:PAWS, R (programming language) with Tidyverse.
Steps toward replication
- Launch PAWS : https://hub.paws.wmcloud.org/hub/login
- Create a notebook and choose the R kernel
- Create code cells and copy and paste R Code from https://public.paws.wmcloud.org/User:PAC2/Articles%20created%20by%20gender.ipynb.
- you just need to customize the `data_url` with your Wikipedia of interest and your username. It should be in the form `https://xtools.wmflabs.org/pages/fr.wikipedia.org/`<your username>`?format=csv`.
