The Galveston County Library System operates public libraries in Galveston County, Texas.
The Galveston County Library System (GCLS) was established in 1941 to provide and enhance library access and services to the citizens of Galveston County. The Rosenberg Library in Galveston, the oldest library in Texas, serves as headquarters of the GCLS and its librarian functions as the Galveston County Librarian. [1]
