I am a researcher who is active at the interface of physical chemistry, materials science, engineering, and data science. My research is focused on dynamical processes such as (thermo-)diffusion, nucleation, and defect formation. I am primarily using molecular simulations and Kohn-Sham density functional theory for my studies. Furthermore, I am very interested in intuitive visualization to help people outside my field to find an access to my work. Finally, sociopolitical decision-making processes intrigue me.
