  • I am a student at Rice University studying Political Science and Poverty, Justice, and Human Capabilities. My primary interests include issues relating to health and human rights, and their intersection with both international and domestic law and policy. I am also especially interested in women's issues such as reproductive rights and women's health policy. I hope to learn to be an effective contributor to Wikipedia this semester as part of Rice's PJHC 394 course, Human Development in Global and Local Communities, and to work on pages relating to my interests in women's health and human rights, as well as continue to develop and expand my contributions after Rice.
  • Last semester I edited and expanded the Incarceration of women in the United States article, specifically focusing on the healthcare section.
  • This semester, I am planning to edit and expand the Genocide prevention article, which is currently rated as C-Class and has a lot of potential for improvement. Using current academic literature on the subject, I plan to add the following sections to the article: The psychological basis of genocide, risk factors of genocide, early warning signs, and the role of the United Nations. Additionally, I will also expand the current section called "Types of prevention" and I will slightly reorganize the other existing sections to better fit with my additions. I consider this to be an incredibly important topic, and I am looking forward to bringing this article to a higher quality.
