Hello! My name is Karen. I am a Communication major with a concentration in HCI. This is my SECOND attempt to make a user page. So before I see it published, I would not go "crazy" with more detail.

I look forward to taking this class. On-line communities have always been a fascination to me. It seems that overnight we have seen this media go from being a flat one dimensional view of our society, transforming itself to become a multifaceted and media rich environment shaped sole by the input of its users. It is really very exciting seeing the evolution of a technology. Knowing that I helped to play an integral part in shaping this technology for future generations to come is very exciting for me.
