About Me

"All our dreams can come true if we have the courage to pursue them." - Anonymous

Born in the US to immigrant parents, I've always appreciated how cultural diversity enriches the human experience. We took many vacations together to exotic locations all over the world. My username was inspired by one of my most memorable trips to India where I was introduced to the concept of moksha. The concept of moksha in Hinduism signifies an enlightened state attained only after countless births in which an individual is fully detached from the material world. Metaphorically, moksha captures the vision of Wikipedia as a multilingual, global encyclopedia, unfettered by bias and other limits placed on it by the human mind. This dream is the one I choose to pursue, and I appreciate the aid of others as a part of this community.

Professionally, I am postdoc researcher involved in identifying molecular targets for novel anti-cancer therapies and will be starting medical school in the upcoming fall. I am also interested in hospice and palliative medicine having watched someone close to me not receive the quality care they deserved when their time was short.

Hobbies

I enjoy traveling, reading, watching anime, reading comic books, and listening to Vivaldi.
