Ceiling Fans vs Pedestal Fans

There has been a long, disputed debate over what is more superior, Ceiling fan vs Pedestal fans. It is well know that Ceiling Fans are hocus pocus as the highly venerated 71.172.215.127 said;

There's nothing to back up scientifically any claims. People who claim they know what a ceiling fan is doing because of the Laws of Physics are really talking nonsense. What is really going on is probably more complicated than a simple schoolboys explanation that Hot air rises. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.172.215.127 (talk) 13:45, 25 April 2013 (UTC)

Many agree with this statement, but for about a decade now there as been a hidden, unspoken consensus that Pedestal Fans are far superior in their, versatility, price, smooth curvy lines, and their utter rarity and prestige among enthusiasts and fanatics. Many Researchers/Expert (i.e. those who sit home all day finding ways to find confidence in themselves and involve themselves in social interactions - damn this is really starting to sound a bit like me) say they can trace the existence of pedestal fans to thousands to years before the possibility of thinking about ceiling fans or even considering the use of sleek, stylish rotors spinning at 200 to 700 feet per minute to cool a room or area. The fact is ceiling fans may be hocus pocus and widely venerated by Pedestal fans are, hands down, a far superior mumbo jumbo.
